Hello !

I learnt about the situation in Iran and the hostages in the US embassy through other movies, but I didn't know anything about these six who hide themselves out of it. It felt really cool to discover that part of the story and even more because it was so well done. And you know that an historic movie/show is well done when it gives you the impression to be simple but you know that it is not. How this movie was written and done is so far from simple : to mix the story and the facts, with some moments for the characters, but without being too much, too melodramatic, and to just be right with the interpretation, to create an atmosphere of tension without the big gunfights and epic musics ; but also to recreate all of these situations, with this level of attention to costumes, rooms, environnement… It's so so so difficult, and still, it looked falsely simple.

I could talk about the six and the fact that it was surely hell to hide for so long, to have that false impression of safety which can push you to stay, the strength you need to go with that plan, how brave it was… Or also how sorry I was to have doubted Sahar. But really, it seems off, when the purpose of the movie was really around them, getting out, and that I was totally involved in that. Yes, the fact I was so sick and tired, helped me to be invested. Maybe too invested.
