I really didn't think we would, first, meet Kibutsuji so early in the anime, but even more that we would stay with him, discover more about him. Like here, we have the confirmation that he chooses when to kill and when to transform, that he puts curse on the ones he transforms (everyone ? just some ?), that they obey him (same questions), and we have that flashback. A fight against someone with Tanjiro's earrings : someone related to him ? (like his dad) a fight when he was a demon or still human ? That's why he targeted Tanjiro's family ?

New demons for this episode. Two who found a compromise with their conditions and who want to help find a treatment for Nezuko. But, I don't know why, I can't imagine a solution like that, I really pictured this story as a long journey with adventures and a lot of demons to kill, each time stronger, almost like a game. And two demons obeying to Kibutsuji and with funny looks and abilities !
