Hello !

This show had me so quick. Even if this episode can seem to begin slowly, it's in fact the good mix of what the writers are promising to the viewers : characters who have their own stories, family and issues, who are going into this game because they are desperate and for financial reasons ; but also a really big mind game with this mastermind organizing these deadly kids games, with so many candidates and a big prize to win.

This main character is desperate, with so many debts that he signed that contract about giving parts of his body, with no pride or ego (he took back the money, the slaps scene was pretty humiliating but a good test for that), but he truly loves his daughter and he did some nice things here. For the other characters, as you saw, I already have a big theory about grandpa. But again, it's maybe just the movie Saw which is too much printed in my head.
