Hello new students. Welcome to the Anime Academy! In a world where every anime story actually happened, a budding group of weaboos attend a school where they can learn how to level up to Super Saiyan, transform into Magical Girls, get in the robot, and survive a yandere's violent obsession.

Late last year a local anime convention approached us looking to collaborate on an original project. We'd been looking for an excuse to produce more frequent, long-running content for our channel, so this was a match made in heaven. We pitched an idea that I had for a weekly web-series where a bunch of anime charicatures discuss and deconstruct anime tropes, make fun of cliches and lazy writing, and parodying popular franchises.

The local convention inevitably pulled out from the project but we'd already invested too much time to just let it die, so here we are, taking a shot at doing something new on the channel!

We've filmed one episode so far and have another shoot date planned in the next few weeks. Keep an eye out for more information on the project - including a release date - soon!

And yes, I'll be playing a character in it.
