Well here was another request from CaseyExplosion and what can I say, it's not that I'm giving her special considering on requests, but I genuinely do want to do a lot of the ones she suggests, pretty right up my alley.

I wasn't sure if I wanted to revisit the Joker on the phone thing - I get a lot of requests which are basically "Do the same video you already did but change like one word to reference this thing *I* like/dislike" and of course I totally understand where folks are coming from, but I try to think about what that experience will be like for the majority of folks who subscribe to the YouTube channel who may not connect to that specific suggested joke or reference and would just feel like they got the same video again, it would feel sorta boring I gotta reckon.

But certain gags I do like to run again - for example, Duke Nukem saying "I have never played [INSERT GAME] in my life", I'm okay with reusing the format to pretty much make the same joke once in a while, which I guess is hypocritical of me because it's exactly what I just say I usually avoid, I just think that format is fun and the new line being said might be worth it. Ultimately I let whim steer the ship and not policy, so if a suggestion tickles my fancy, I'm doing it without much regard for standards or philosophy. They are merely shitposts, after all.

In the case of the Joker prank call - I think I'm very okay with reusing it as a running gag format, it's very strong and opens up a lot of fun possibilities.

OH! And that extremely shitty video I warned you about yesterday? This isn't it. I was too excited to post this. Don't worry, you'll know it when you see it. It's a real... stinker 🙂.
