I made a new long-form video essay, and it's like 30 whole minutes somehow! Digging up all those clips is way more work than I thought.

I'm gonna make another post about this, but to soft-launch the idea, I'd really love to start putting in ad spots in these, but I hate all the available mobile games and shitty products, so I wanted to ask - do you have something you want advertised? A book, a video, literally anything? Cause at least for now, I'd rather take a couple hundred bucks to advertise a Patron's project than a measly thousand to pretend I play Raid: Shadow Legends.

Anyway, if you're interested, let me know, we can negotiate and I'll go easy on you cause I struggle to value my own work.

it's content, that's all it is. I also feel like an aging boomer over here telling my partner "they talking sense on the YouTube again!!" I will be honest: I make this kind of crap for games for a living. The fact we have it doesn't scare me. What scares me is my peers insisting it's quality product when...naw man this is pure content. People are easily fooled by surface level dialogue, good shots, and balanced color - they really don't seem to realise "good film" isn't an aesthetic or a genre. This was a fun video man! You seem energised and this was a great time - we've been feeling a lot of this on our end, too. As far as adverts go, I've personally ended up using Incogni & Ground News, both of which I see doing sponsor deals. While I'm not super into Ground they ain't done anything wrong, it's just not for me. I'd just recommend googling anyone you consider, since you sound like you'd not be into BetterHelp lol. But take whatcha can where you can while avoiding any bad apples best you can. I'm not even a Dr Who fan but you've weirdly sold me on the 2000s seasons since we, too, are watching a bunch of junk from that era thinking "what the hell why is this....sincere?" and suddenly missing it. Go watch Lars and the Real Girl again, my god. I feel like I've been ruined by irony and postmodernism, fiction without true heroes, and characters without humanity - just meta and subversion. The Marvel wink wink nod nod to camera that ended up replacing the script entirely. I need to stop being shy and good into the discord. do the raid shadow legends email dude it would be so so hilarious I'm begging you

the thought that popped into my head was "I wonder if there's a stealthy way to advertise Raid Shadow Legends in a way that makes it clear to everyone but them that you don't play/have no interest in the game" haha. probably... not... but the thought exists in my head and now it exists in everyone else's head too lol. (also I haven't watched the video yet so maybe you already had the same thought, I need to catch up on video watching. anyway!!)
