Tough Bippy : Animations & Development Details (Patreon)

Hey guys - DD here giving some more updates on Tough Bippy! A lot of work has been going towards finalizing Bippy's animations alongside wrapping up work on a lot of the core gameplay. For anyone curious just how some of these final animations look - here's a taste!

If you want to tune in as more animations are being done for the game you can check out Julian's stream on Twitch! Bippy animation streams should be happening every week to every other week so if you're curious what the process is like - try dropping by sometime!

Final passes of these sprites were done by the very talented Sneep29 who has been helping us immensely with the project's art! We currently have finished nearly all of the core animations around Bippy's movement, and next will be straight dedicated focus to combat!

We're still in the process of drawing up and implementing new attacks but the groundwork for the game's combo system has been all setup and there's already a bit you can within it! Once we start finalizing Bippy's move list there will be some more in-depth posts discussing how combat functions alongside its mechanics and complexities.

During the next couple of months we're going to be prioritizing finalizing everything we can when it comes to combat system. Our goal is to eventually upload a demo on here to receive feedback on how it feels so stay tuned for more coming details on the demo as we progress the game forward!
