Hey there everyone - I've been sort of trying to figure out how to go about starting a post off now that we're moved in at our new place but I figured I may as well just give some comprehensive updates on everything as it stands!

For those potentially unaware : we spent January moving into a much smaller more affordable home so that we could properly budget anything in savings now towards our projects. On my own end I've concluded all prior work I was doing so Tough Bippy has been my focus around the clock since we arrived at our new place! Julian has been in the process of wrapping up a job he had taken off to the side that assisted in our move, so in the next month or so he'll be freed up to do more art for Tough Bippy (although we still have plenty of art and animation from his end that we're now in the process of finalizing!)

Tough Bippy has been moving ahead these past couple months, some additional artists now on board helping us do final clean up and shading for the animations and sprites that we currently have! In the next month or so we'll have some finalized visuals to showcase, we'll also be able to showcase much more since Julian will be back on full-time for art and animations. I'll be writing up a post soon detailing some of the plans for the project, how the game works, as well as a gold post that will be discussing in-depth how certain mechanics and effects are being achieved in-game.

While the artistic end of Tough Bippy is pretty early on - the gameplay has been making some big leaps forward and the core movement and camera system have been established. I've been working on combat mechanics as well as enemy interactions the past few weeks so once all of that is knocked out we'll have a demo up here for people to try out and give feedback on. It has taken longer than hoped for (the move didn't exactly do favors) but we're getting close to having it ready for people to try - stay tuned for that!

Of course, some people may have tuned in for some early development work on the game on Twitch! I've been doing some test game development streams here and there showcasing the process while new features are implemented into the game.

I've also been streaming development work on Tough Bippy over on Twitch during the past month and will be planning to continue doing that! While detailed posts about the game will be showing up over here, you can also watch the slow tedious process of game creation happen live during certain days of the week! We'll hopefully have more of a schedule planned out for game development streams once April rolls in - but the hope will be at least a weekly stream or two.

I'll be switching on and off with streams - either I'll be on microphone discussing the process or running Wan Wan TV off to the side as I focus on the work. I've been announcing streams on my personal Twitter whenever they've been happening, you can also just follow my Twitch to receive notifications whenever I'm live. Once we have a concrete schedule we'll have that posted here.

Stick around the next few weeks for some more in-depth discussions about Tough Bippy on how it plays and how things work behind the scenes. Thanks again to everyone who has been supporting us! It's exciting having the chance to work exclusively on this game and we cannot thank you guys enough for such an opportunity!
