Here we meet the Commander in Chief of our as-of-yet-unnamed Halloween land, boss of the Lab level Doctor Francois. He's definitely the boss battle I would have most liked to see finalized, although the simplicity of the animation I had committed to for the game is pretty evident now that I come back to it. Trigger Treat was originally meant to be a very quick art jam, and as you might have guessed, I haphazardly drew a lot of the enemy and character designs in MSPaint since I was very new to pixel art at the time. A lot of the appeal of the game was the freedom to scribble loosely as it was a befitting style for something violent and spooky, but I think at this point I would do much better to flex my animation skills with something high-resolution.
