Mistletoe – Painting Process (Patreon)

SAI 2.0 process from Inking using a rough sketch as base and starting from 3:30, Coloring. 

Description of style used:

Simple shading style (almost flat). Most of the look relies on the line-art drawing with pencil sketch-like rough style; and the textures that imite traditional color pencils coloring to give it some flare. The shading is pretty simple, only used one layer on multiply mode for shadows and other one on shine mode for global light on big areas of interest (like faces). All that was done with custom brushes on SAI 2.0.

This .sai2 file will be on the November-December masters folder. Oh, also after the paint process was done (not in the video) I corrected a little values and colors on photoshop but not a necessary step.

Notes:
1. Recording of this video was clipped by mistake and brushes palettes didn't appear, but I did the best use of this error to zoom to the overall work and layers palette.
2. I forgot to upload a Behind the Scenes post last week with all the holidays fuss, so this week there will be another one apart from this video.
