The second task.

I mean for real… swimming… in a lake… in late February…?
Honestly 🤦‍♂️
That’s just dumb… magic or not, staying under water for an hour??? That’s their issue? How about not dying after 10 minutes of Hypothermia???

That task was the dumbest of all the many dumb things in the books. Don’t get me wring, I love them, and I still love to listen to the audiobooks from time to time, but DAMN was the second task idiotic. There were things in the books that I still roll my eyes over, but all in all I love them.

So, Fleur was probably the only one with a slim hope of you know… not dying… because of her thickness. That blubber has to protect something vital… right?

Alright, enough bashing. Stay tuned for the Grindylow episode that caused Fleur to fail her second task 🤭

Other than that I hope you are doing Ok.

Yours truly

Apparently, it was stated in the books that the hostages for the challenge were never in any real danger. But in the movies, they REALLY left it ambiguous whether the teachers would have let a kid drown if nobody saved them.

Still thought the second challenge setting was annoyingly stupid of taking it in the period where it was hard to tell if it was still in Winter or slowly transitioning to Spring. But in that time of year, over in Scotland of all places, yeah bloody cold, even when in the water for a while.
