Hi, just been busy working on Aegir. I figured I'd make a quick update to show off a bit of the animation for Act 3. I have also attached a few more clips which I've posted in my Discord server prior to this post. It is a very ambitious animation and I want to make sure that it is satisfactory above expectations. The animation will be posted near the end of this month along with another OC short.

I should also apologize for not being able to provide as much and as reliably as my peers seem to. I will continue to do as much as I can to try and remedy the recent cancellations and egregious exit surveys that have been coming in although, I at this point have not much faith for a recovery given the extreme toxicity of the community that had been affecting us for the longest time. Either way I hope you are looking forward to future animation and other big projects! Thank you for your trust and your support

Is that... Could it be... New visuals?! No Way! I also should apologise if I have ever come across as rude and annoying because I keep bugging you about the progress of certain videos (especially Aegir of course). Just know I have no actual hard feelings for delays and all that. I want to see what the end product is after all. It's just that I tend to get kinda impatient and over-excited if it is a project that captures my attention a lot. But that just means you are making something that people are looking forward to. I know you put a lot of effort into your videos and they always turn out so amazing. So you have already set a solid foundation of reasons why I ain't leaving any time soon. 😁

Nothing else to say. The new teasers all look so good, I really love it:)

Out of mere curiosity, when will you give information about Aegir’s prelude?

lajest

Is there really a demand for the prelude of the animation? I figured it would be the lowest priority since there are so many infinitely better growth animations coming out nowadays that my pitiful attempt at making a lab growth scene would be at the bottom of the list of things to look forward to.

The quality shown in the clip played on the post itself had a noticeable edge. That is not to say it is a critique of the accessories attached but rather a statement of how impressive the feature was that it could outdo an incredibly high bar. I was simply enthralled by what was on display. The clarity of the shot provided an unabashed showcase of every point of detail seen, the details themselves being the main draw. There is no mistaking that it was the greatest show of intricacy to date. This showing the multiple layers of improvement that have gone into this project and is part of why I continue to dream and awe in anticipation of its' eventual release. Stunning as it is, given my fingers uncontrollable urge to tap away in commentary, I must hold myself back for the moment as I wait to review it in full upon completion. Such is the want that this animation has instilled in me and which I hope can in part portray the level of ambition that it exudes. With regards to output, there is no comparison. There is no other who pushes themselves harder or cares as deeply. I know, I've been around. I'd never use a yard stick, such as a peer, to gauge any individual's performance. That goes for everyone. I support YOUR work and quite frankly I'd take quality over quantity any day. If anything, it's nice that others can 'fill the gap' per say but inevitably I always find myself waiting for the main course. I'd think that your fellows would allow for less pressure, given that the burden of supply is spread, allowing the opportunity for your work to be unhurried. At least, that is how it should be. We aren't in such dire straits that there is a lack and so time is a luxury that can be deservingly afforded. Stay as you are and work as you want. I wouldn't have it any other way. It cuts me to hear the toxicity that plagues the community. Curtailed behind the scenes, it is oft something that rarely sees the light of day, leading to the unfair burden carried by those who create. I'll always be thankful for your willingness to share as while I might not be able to affect such individuals, I hope I can at least aspire to provide some reprieve through my own effort. Such people, often fickle, are quick to leave but just so to return. In my eyes, the inevitable trajectory is up as through the trials and tribulations of your animations, it is evident this is so much more. Then I'd like to end on a quote I felt would be particularly fitting to affirm the point: "If you build it, they will come."

Honestly, I’ve been going through and downloading every video I can, because my financial situation means that I frequently have to wait anywhere from one to several weeks before I have the money to re-up my subscription (bills, yay). I don’t get the wackos who think they’re entitled to hassle someone for not putting out work that they want, when they want it, when they’re not even commissioning anything - trust me, I’ve seen how obnoxious some of the comments have been in previous posts. Tossing some money at a Patreon is appreciated, but it does not make someone a VIP customer, and even if they were, some of the nonsense I’ve seen would get them cut off anyhow. I’m honestly much happier letting creative types do as they will, and if I can, I’ll just throw money at them for the hell of it, because I recognize that making art is a time and resource-intensive thing and the people who do it deserve to get some recompense for their efforts (Which is probably not smart for my own bank account, but meh, I’ll muscle through).
