Omg I’ve been waiting for this one ❄️ I was lowkey OBSESSED when this came out lol IMO “Do You Want To Build A Snowman?”> “Let It Go” Olaf is not only my favorite character ⛄️ , but he has my favorite line of the film (“Some people are worth melting for” 🥹)

This was different to how I was expecting too. I thought Elsa would be proper main girl and she was almost a secondary character and pseudo-villain almost. Was not expecting that villain, though got to make only one suitor in this Disney films I guess lol. Crazy amount of songs, especially early on, most seemed like talk songs but were still ok. Not sure what my favourite of them was. At least I finally know the context to some of these songs 😂 Disney/Pixar/Dreamworks animals and humanised objects always the best characters. Olaf the best, he was too wholesome and got the best jokes of the film

Not a Frozen Franchise Fan. Don't care for the songs, and Elsa bugs me. As a Tangled fan, I never understood the love for this movie. Your reaction was about what I expected.

I do really like this film, but also think the timing is important to its success. Disney pre2000 had been king of animation and magic, but it had been quite a while since it had a blockbuster success. I think for many (after the surprisingly good Tangled), this was Disney returning to form. And I reckon for a new generation, the first Magical Disney film they'd have seen in the cinema

Big famely discustion around jól (christmas) hehe. The chanting is called a joik or yoik, it is a traditional form of song in Sámi/Samisk, one of many Native Norwegian, Swedish, Finnish and russian languages. A people who have endured a lot of hardship. Much like the Nativ americans and the druids. A history rich on mysticism and "sorcery". I do agree that Sven is not as cool and fun as Maximus <3

I just felt so bad for Elsa, I mean Anna too of course, but Elsa was so terrified of herself the whole movie and where she can control the power sometimes she can't entirely. When she gets scared or emotional (her whole room freezing after her parents death, hitting Anna in the heart). She doesn't mean to do those things, they just sort of happen. Her parents isolating her and reenforcing that fear of her power (pretending it isn't there, conceal don't feel, don't let them know... I know the parents tried but my god

I remember when Frozen came out I loved it. My family would watch it over and over again! I have such nostalgia for this movie. But on underneath the nostalgia is a good movie.

I especially love that they utilized true love in that of sister love, rather than the usual true love in that of a kiss. I thought it was a very awesome message!
