Just so you know, the Zack Snyder version, while better, is not canon to the DCEU.

Patty Jenkins and James Wan have said it is. The executives don’t think so, but so far ZSJL actually has less inconsistencies with the DCEU than Josstice League does. The only real inconsistency ZSJL has is one line Mera says, which is less important to me than the blatant characterization breaks in Josstice League. As well, The Flash test screenings reportedly reference a scene from ZSJL directly, one that wasn’t in Joss’ cut.

At this point, with of the structural changes going on WB and DCEU team now running the show, TBD. Doesn’t hurt you have folks like Dwayne Johnson also as a supporter.

To answer a few @Seb questions: Zack Snyder chose to film Justice League in IMAX aka 4:3 because all of the action is full frame vs. "Marvel style" wide screen to avoid cutting some of the top + bottom scene frame out to allow space for 16:9 left/right side 'squishing' of the scenes.

Darkseid's chest bears his signature Omega symbol. In the fight with the Old God's, Humans, Atlateans and Amazons we see a much younger Darkseid from 5K years ago, powerful but not as powerful as he would later become. Buuut I mean it's Zeus father of the God's and humans + Ares the God of War + Artemis Goddess of the Hunt who are all at near their peak full power.

"That lightning" around the Flash is Zack Snyder's interpretation of one of the more current iterations of the Barry Allen Flash character. The Flash accesses the Speed Force for his abilities. The Speed Force grants hypersonic speed abilities up to invulnerability, super human strength and stamina, accelerated healing and speedster like The Flash can channel the energies of slipping in/out of the Speed Force (that lightning) as a weapon or tool.

DC universe has been referring to their super humans with powers or abilities as Meta Humans for years. Yes it is like Marvel.

So excited for part 2! When I saw the theatrical version. I HATED this movie. You really won't believe how actually awful it was considering it's the "same" movie. I couldn't believe how much of a difference the right post production decisions could make. Also, I'm sure you've already been inundated with requests, but you absolutely NEED to react to Wednesday at some point. it's honestly such a good series and it's worth jumping in on the hype while you can still grab the views. Or whenever your schedule allows it.
