I’ve rewatched this a couple of times now and it makes me feel so many things every time. Happy that this and future generations have content like this to watch and feel represented, angry that I grew up without shows like this. It’s just such a sweet and wholesome show with an amazing cast

I never experienced bullying in high school, but my best friend who is gay went to a Christian private school. It was hell for him. He faced lots of bullying and rejection from his family. It's awful to witness such things and not be able to do anything, I felt so useless. That was a long time ago and things are better now but those experiences leave lifelong scars.

This show hit me in a way that I don’t think any show ever has before. It’s so relatable and having gone through secondary school, I thought I was watching my teenage years on film. It’s such a wonderful and charming and overall cute show. Plus, the representation of the community is top tier

i binged this last night and immediately thought "ooh Seb has got to watch this" then went out for the day and came home to this wonderful surprise. i loved this show but it hit me hard in the feels because its so relatable. Keep up the good work Seb.

Being older (39) and not coming out until I was 31, I felt both joy and sadness watching this show. I didn’t get to experience this wholesome cute teen love story. My first romantic experience with a guy was when I was 30 and turned very sexual very fast. I would’ve loved to have gone through the stage of shared long looks and flirty hand grazes. But it makes me happy knowing today’s queer youth mostly have a better world to grow up in. Also, I can tell Seb really likes this show because during the snow scene I had to check and make sure I hadn’t accidentally paused him. He didn’t say anything for a few minutes. Haha. I think this show should be played in all schools. A lot of LGBTQ teen content focuses on sex, which is fair and understandable. But it’s nice to see a show focus on feelings and attraction, not sex.

Yes, more heartstopper please! It's such a heartwarming show. A lot of LGBTQ+ content nowadays is focused solely on the struggles and hardships, and can often make us feel hopeless. So we definitely need more shows that portray queer love and happiness. I strongly suggest everyone to read the webcomic too! You can find it on webtoon or tapas. Alice Oseman is an amazing author and artist. I don't remember if you asked in this video or the previous one, but the actors were all around 17-18 at the time I think. I know Kit (Nick) was 17 when they filmed this. So they are actually high schoolers.

It’s such a cute show. I don’t think it’s heartbreaking except for the bullying. I also understand some fans feeling a bit sad that there wasn’t a show like this when they were in school. I definitely feel that way too. A show like this would have shown me I wasn’t alone.

More please! This would probably be my 5th time watching in a week. It’s such a feel good show. I was nervous about something going wrong too but you honestly don’t have to worry about that. Just sit back and enjoy. That’s all I’ll say.

Same here. Also a 39 year old gay man who came out at the age of 24. Had my first kiss at 26 and also turned sexual very fast. In school I had a huge crush on my straight best friend (who hasn’t right?) and every time I saw him or he touched me I felt the butterflies and sparks depicted as in the show. And every time I watch it and see these little moments all the emotions come rushing back.
