If you had a Maca Root sponsor it would be so funny the amount of places you could place it 🤣 This episode felt like a lot of personal philosophy stuff, Aang and Zuko almost coming from complete opposite angles but almost needing what the other is good with to become "complete". I guess that reinforces Iroh's point of learning from others to improve as well

One of the best episodes of the whole show IMO!! The foils of Aang and Zuko needing to learn what is so opposite to their nature... not just a water technique for Zuko's fire but patience and humility. Not just earthbending against Aang's air, but obstinance and brute force. Just like last episode where all four elemental benders team up against Azula, we are seeing the synchronicity of the four elements here too, and it's just so effing beautiful. It really feels to me like one of the more "symmetrical" episodes we come across. Iroh's lesson in the sand is such an iconic bit of dialogue that I like to believe is the entire point of the show and, as you said, something that is so easily carried into real-life experiences. Pretty much like everything he says :-D It is so deeply the opposite of the supremacist mission of the current fire nation regime.

Another good one and you get a deeper, better look at how Iroh views at the world. Such a great character... if only I'd had a father like him, lol.
