Not sure if it was because I was extra emotional when I watched this episode, or because they included the song “Mad World” (or all of the above lol), but I actually cried during the whole interaction with Nomi and Lito. If there was anyone who could comfort Lito about the struggle of just being yourself/not getting to be yourself, it would be her. Not me sobbing during “I have all these voices in my head… but yours. It’s the only one I can’t live without.” 🥺😭 This episode left me feeling empty as well. If I had a cluster I was connected to, they would probably wonder if all movies/tv shows make me cry 🙈😅

the tombstone that Riley visited had two people. one was her husband that said 1985-2008 and the second said 2008-2008 💔

Even though this episode is really emotional I think it's also really beautiful and heartwarming in the same breath. Nomi and Lito's chat in particular was very emotional and always gets me teary. I think what the episode said to me was that we can all help each other with our experiences and just in general support each other emotionally when in trouble. Whenever one of the sensates is in need of either physical or emotional help, they drift to each other in those moments and share their experiences or knowledge to help them. I think you might have missed the quick shots where Riley was holding a baby on top of the snowy mountain. I think you also missed the tombstone dates for Luna which said 12.1.2008 to 12.1.2008. Along with the final scene in ep 10 you can probably work out what those meant.

I forgot just how heartbreaking this episode is, but the scenes with Lito and Nomi bonding are so beautiful, and the dialogue, music and editing is just perfect in those moments.

that scene between Lito and Nomi is probably one of my favorite scenes in the entirety of this show. it's just so beautifully shot and well-acted. I love how much the sensates are able to support each other in their times of need.

Goddamn. I must have watched that scene between Lito and Nomi a dozen times, but it never fails to absolutely gut me. In particular, I bawl when Nomi talks about the violence we do to ourselves when we try to live inauthentically. So damn powerful.

Haven't seen the show in so long and re-watching Nomi and Lito hit me like a ton of bricks, wow I had forgotten how much that scene gutted me emotionally. Lito shouting "Stop It!" immediate tears.
