I'll try my best to finish TDK 2.0 (Kanon's POV for Teaser Date Kanon) this month!!... In the meantime, I need to decide already what I'm doing next!! There are a lot of preps to work on when starting a new project... especially when it comes to visual novels. So I need to decide on my next project as soon as possible if I want to post the first chapter/built next month (assuming I really finish TDK 2.0 this month... I know I will... I hope I will... have a little faith in me!... I should have a little faith in me!...).

As I told you in my last W.I.P. post, I'll start doing monthly builds for my visual novels, so you don't have to wait till I finish to enjoy them. I already explained a little bit about my idea for my next visual novel: My Crush... But I came up with an alternative idea that will become a second candidate! I think it's fair to let you decide instead of just deciding for myself. That second idea is Fansonly~Tomoe (I already did a little surprise campaign about it on Twitter... See?! I told you you should follow me on all my social networks!!).

I'll make a couple of posts describing in a much more detailed way the concept for each (My Crush and Fansonly~Tomoe). Then I'll make a poll so you can decide between them!

To be honest I have a couple more ideas for my next visual novel with monthly builds... one of them includes Ririka (mystery NTR with lots of hinting and paranoia on it), but that story is much more complex. For my first attempt at monthly builds, I want something simple (to get the feel of the workload). That's why both candidates' (My Crush and Fansonly~Tomoe) are thought for a slice-of-life manner of storytelling. If I can get accustomed to that, then I can make something much more complex in the future. But make no mistake! They might be simple... but they are still pretty damn good ideas! (at least I'd like to think so).

I also think it's good to set a time limit for the development, so I won't just keep going and going and never finish... So I thought of setting the time to roughly a year. So 12 chapters + 1 intro chapter, with a review in 6 months to see if the story is well received or not (if it doesn't get a positive response until then, I can finish it at that time and work on something else). The project can also extend to 18 months (6 more chapters) if necessary. I want to be flexible about it, while still setting a limit to the time of development.

I'll keep working on DOM, My Girlfriend, and the last chapter of Valentine, but they will become side middle-term projects (I'll still make monthly releases with what I have finished, so expect more chapters/pages every month), but my next visual novel will become the main monthly "reward".

Since from May (hopefully), there won't be more "paying in advance to get the finished visual novel once it's finished" (because of the monthly builds), I'm thinking of changing the Tiers a little bit, but that will be material for a future post. For now, I want to focus on the two candidates and the poll that will decide between them.

About Teaser Trip Kanon (the continuation of TDK 2.0)

As I said before I really need a break from Kanon... But I get you won't want to wait... So, I've been thinking about making Trip a manga. I think that part of the story could benefit from it. That way you will get periodic releases since I'll be publishing it along with DOM and My Girlfriend.

The third arc of the story (what follows Trip) will definitely be a Mystery NTR Visual Novel since the story demands it! But by then, I might hopefully get accustomed to monthly builds, and make it that way! Maybe I can start with the third arc after my next Visual Novel is finished in a year's time... That is if I finish Trip (in manga format) by then.

This is not decided yet... Another option is to work on it as a long-term project... but since it won't take priority it might take a lot of time to finish it. It will all depends on how much time it takes to make a monthly build for my next visual novel.

Anyway... What do you think about it? I'd like to hear your thoughts.

However, my desire is still to take a break from Kanon for a while after finishing TDK 2.0 and the last chapter of Valentine. I don't want to get burned by it, and ending hating my own creation. I hope you can understand.

But this post is about the two candidates for my next Visual Novel, so without further ado, I'll present them to you (each in its respective post).

Important Note: I wanted to make public posts presenting both ideas, so I took care of not including any nudity in the pictures... but Patreon could still consider there is some adult content on them (which is forbidden in a public post)... So, just to be safe, I'll post them as Patreon-only content, but I'll make a public post about them on my Pixiv account. So if you're not a Patreon (even though you SHOULD!!), you can check them there.

Now you can check the info on both candidates here:
