Just like the title said, my computer died (it was old anyway), so I had to buy a new one. I was actually doubting if I should post about it because I don't want to appeal to your pitty. I want you to support me because you value my work... But to be honest, I'm in a pinch for money now (since the new computer wasn't cheap)... So in all sincerity, some support right now will be awesome!!

I have backups so the data is safe. The hard disk was in good shape anyway, so no data was lost (you can actually see my old Toshiba HD inside the new machine in the pictures... hopefully... my cell cam is not that good). However, I lost time between trying to repair my old computer and buying a new one, so my schedule got messed up (I lost at least 5 days in all this).

To make matters worst, the new computer started to shut down randomly a week after I bought it. The problem seemed to be a loose cable. One of the shutdowns messed up the HsResolveMoreSlotID (a crucial file to install mods and keep all your things organized in HS). I couldn't fix the problem at first (you can see the details of the error in one of the pictures). I was about to give up (since formating the disk seemed to be the only option left). Luckily, restoring Windows to a previous state fixed the problem.

But, not all are bad news. The new machine is a "bullet" (real fast!!). I wanted to test its capabilities, so I went crazy and decided to make a scene I had in mind for some time now (The one you see in the picture of the new monitor).

I used 8 characters on that scene... and I could work much, much faster than when I did it with just two characters in the "limbo" in my old machine. This is the first time I put that many characters in one scene (my old machine couldn't handle it)... so the advantage of the new computer is not only its speed but also that it will allow me to work with more characters, items, lights... etc... (I sometimes had to juggle and make use of tricks in my old machine to get things done in heavy scenes... my old computer just couldn't handle too many items in one scene). By the way, I'll post the results of that scene for all my Patrons to see: a small wordless 4 CG of the Dirty Old Man X Hot Wife Ritsuko series (you can see more of that series HERE). I really want to make that into something, but I'm still not sure if it will be a CG, Manga, Visual Novel, or a combination of those...

My plans for the rest of the month are to finish the next chapter of My Girlfriend in the next few days (still 10 more CG to make and add text and make corrections). I was planning to release it this past weekend, but all the problems with the machine delayed all my plans. Patrons (all tiers) will have early access to it (at least one week before public release). And of course, that chapter will have the promised extra camera angles content for Patrons in the Antagonist Tier and above.

Next month (and if I can finish My Girlfriend fast, the last days of this month) I'll work on TDK 2.0, as well as the second chapter of Kanon's Valentine Special, and the next chapter of My Girlfriend (TDK 2.0 will be my priority next month).

That's all for this update. Stay healthy!!
