I hope all is well. I am SO pumped for this year's videos - we spent a lot of time figuring out which episodes we really wanted to do in 2024 and I think they're are gonna be some hitters in there. Also some INTERESTING collaboration episodes with UNPREDICTABLE guests. Go ahead, TRY to guess. You never will. And if you do, I'll deny it.

ANYWAYZ, I hope you had a chance to catch the last episode of 2023  about Saudi Arabia's secret plan to get the developing world addicted to oil before they can get on renewables. In case you haven't seen it, we ended up building a lot of Lord of the Rings bits in there. At the very end of a LONG day of shooting, I had consumed my bodyweight in coffee and chipotle burritos, I was feeling manic and weird, but most of all I was feeling nostalgic for The Lord of the Rings. My director Matt asked if I could just try to talk about Lord of the Rings for 5 minutes without stopping, and here are the results. Of course a HUGE thank you to our new assistant editor Laura Conte for finding all the clips and editing this thing together.
