These give more context to some of the factions in the game, it's easiest to think of it as worldbuilding. They're usually released before a newly released character's trailer, since the factions correlate with them. They're enjoyable to watch but it can also be confusing even if you're a player because it touches on information from the past, or a teaser for storylines in the future I would say, I like your reactions to these. But if you want something that won't leave you incredibly confused, the "Keeping Up with Star Rail" videos are good. They showcase all the characters and their abilities like the Genshin Miscellany videos. There's also a decent amount of version trailers and character demos since I last remember you two reacting to this

There are a lot of details in these trailers that require some knowledge and lore explained in the game to even begin to comprehend. The most important of which would be the concepts of Paths and their Aeons (essentially gods that embody a specific concept).
