So about bulma "looking good for a middle aged woman" there's a Toriyama reason for that, certainly not related to aging gracefully. but you're not gonna hear about that for a while

Bulma getting insulted by the entire cast despite being drawn as an attractive woman is a weird running gag in the show. Bulma hasn't really aged visibly for about twenty years, and I think it might be a kind of in-joke about the fact she still looks young while at the end of Z (which is only a few years after Super; albeit it's all retconned now), she looks old. I guess Toriyama decided he just didn't like drawing Bulma that way.

It was a good call. She looked weird and way too shrill. Having that look and then having her yell as much as she does could've made her dislikable 🤔

Forget about Bulma looking young for her age, what about her mother who should be at least in her 60-ies at this point and looks 40 years younger 😆
