I love these slice of life episodes so much. Oh no, did they cut out Gohan's awkward dance? When it suddenly cut to Chi-Chi dancing, she was doing so because Videl invited Gohan to dance, and he was so awkward that Chi-Chi said she'd "show them how it's done." Dang, some of the dialogue changes too. I love this scene so much, I feel the need to quote how the original dub was, at least the scene when they're bummed Goku isn't there. (I actually just found the clip here after already typing this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ydJ84oA1ylE ) Bulma: It's just not the same without him, is it? Chi-Chi: Gosh, you really care for Goku. Hey, I know, how about we trade mates; Vegeta for Goku? Bulma: Huh? Chi-Chi: Vegeta's not as sweet, but he's certainly more dependable. I think it evens out. Yamcha: Hey, I'm available, ladies. What do you say, huh? Chi-Chi: We want an even trade, not a downgrade. It's neat that they combined the two peaceful episodes into one while still maintaining the important parts. So little left, onto the next one!
