Just a heads up, they changed the story a little from the original campaign, so what you see played out differently if only slightly, but it wasn't done in a bad way, in my opinion it actually works here and I am ok with it.

Amazon only has the streaming rights. This show is 100% under control of the Critical Role cast, the whole cast are executive producers on the show. Plus the animation studio is full of fans of the campaigns. Which why it is so good and close to the their campaign. Basically after the kickstarter made close to 13 million (Enough to fund the 1st season), Amazon was like hey if you let us stream this, will fund a 2nd season. Which is now a 3rd season (hopefully more!) too, plus a 2nd series based on CR's 2nd campaign is in the works as well! Those dragons are no joke you are in for a great ride! :P
