Trunks flashing by shows Cell killing him in an alternate timeline and taking his ship. I know Cell reveals it in that scene in the OG, but I can't remember if TFS elaborates further on it.

Big shift from the Androids, huh? While they're taking their sweet time, pranking police officers and bullying store owners, Cell has literally devoured an entire city's population. Even babies. There's a reason what you are in now is known as the Cell Saga. Unstable, unpredictable, and intensely driven for a singular goal. This is the second of the Big Three, major iconic villains that wrecked shop throughout DBZ. Frieza the tyrant conqueror, and Cell the insect bio-android. The third is Majin Buu, but that season isn't in DBZA, so... Yeah.

Bummer we won't get to see Majin Buu in DBZA. Would've loved to have seen what they did with him as we affectionately call him Fat Kirby. Digging the shift though from Androids 17 and 18 to Cell 😀

If you think Cell is scary, then Maajin Buu would be horrifying. He has to date the most brutal on-screen kill in the entire franchise to his name.
