Hey guys, I love the fact you guys are playing one of my childhood games. Easily one of my favorite Halo games. Something I did want to mention though, as I know these are recorded ahead of time, I don't know if it will reach you in time. But just in case, MCC is a little weird with the ODST campaign as it usually allows you to go out of order in the campaign. Currently after finding the sniper rifle hanging it would send you to one mission ahead of where you should be. The mission you should be on is ONI Alpha site. Not NMPD HQ. I apologize if it seems like I'm telling you what to do as I am not trying to. Just trying to give a heads up so the story doesn't seem out of order or doesn't make sense. Basically you could play it out of order you just need to know that if you do it may not make total sense. If you want to play it in order though just load up ONI Alpha Site play the mission then look for the sniper rifle again. Anyways thanks for your hard work helljumpers!

Thanks so much for letting us know, Jaret! We actually are ahead so already played the mission but glad to know it wasn't something we did. We weren't totally confused story wise but when we looked at the missions we had left to play we noticed that there was one that got skipped and we had no idea why, and then at the end of the Mombasa mission we find the rifle again and were even more confused haha. 🤗

So fun fact, there's an easter egg that forshadows the game destiny. I can't remember the building it was in, but you can find it by exploring when playing as the rookie, there's a picture of Earth with a little white ball at the top that resembles the Traveler with the words "Destiny Awaits".
