I actually disagree with yalls evaluation of Jax. I know we don't really understand him as a character yet (there's only 2 eps lol) but did you guys notice the way he looked before rolling his eyes when they mentioned the funeral? There was lots of emotion in those 2 seconds. To me, he seems like someone who puts up a front to protect himself. I'm not sure from what yet, but the way he's looked directly into the camera and made an emote or facial expression explicitly at the viewer twice now, it's got me thinking.

We don't think he is a psycho or anything and for sure there has to be more to him than he is showing, and maybe that is what Bethany was picking up on. Her mistrust could be that she senses something disingenuous about him, and if he is putting on a front to act like he doesn't care when he really does, that could be it. The whole GTA vibe I was getting at is more so that in order to stay sane, he is trying to have fun with his new reality. And by not getting too emotionally involved, like Pomni did with the NPC, he can keep from going insane and thus say alive in this new reality. Hope this explains our position and thoughts on Jax a little more. Always been able to convey thoughts better in writing than speech 😆
