This is a massive game for both sides, the winner will Qualify for the Champions league this season, the opening 1st leg finished 2-2 & was a scrappy affair, the game seen a total of 29 fouls & 4 yellows all of which came after half time between 45-68th min, the referee was rather lenient towards the final 3rd also.

The referee for tonight is Szymon Marcinak, he’s handed out a total of 49 yellows & 1 red over his last 9 games, an average of 5.44 yellows per match, his most recent in UCL was Liverpool vs Villarreal which seen just 3 yellows then the match prior was Real Madrid Vs Chelsea which had 8 yellows & prior that was Marseille vs PAOK which seen 6 yellows & a red card, at the weekend in the league Rangers had another game finish 2-2 vs Hibernian & that game had a total of 7 yellows & a red card for Morelos, Rangers have not qualified for the Champions League group stages since 2010/11, & because of it being such a huge game for both sides expect to be another cagey Affair, the reason why I’ve I’m going with over 3 cards in the 2nd half rather than 5.5 for the game is because any earlier fouls with players will likely be cautioned with a verbal warning & it’s unlikely that there will be more than 2 in the 1st half, and if there was 2 in the 1st half we’d require over 4 or more for 5.5 more anyhow, where as if there was for example 1 card in the 1st half we’d require 5 after the break rather than 4 with our specific bet, Mathematically & Statistically over 3 in the 2nd half is safer in my opinion, looks good on paper only concern would be if either team runs away with the tie, the cards late on would be less likely but with so much on the line for both teams & after watching the 1st leg it’s a logical bet. We’ve been hard done by with card bets recently but it’s been a profitable market throughout the year which we’ll continue to look at for angles throughout Europe as we’ve seen the premier league officials have been rather lenient so far this season.

I was quite impressed when attending Galway & he finished a solid 2nd behind Tudor city in a field of 20 in a competitive Galway hurdle race, previous run before that was earlier in July at Killarney finishing 2nd by a head despite having to draw wide the final furlong, hasn’t won in 6 starts but has been against decent opposition at big meetings, latest Win came at flat maiden in Navan last October, Jockey on board today is Pat Taafe & he’s claiming 7lbs, on paper looks the one to beat in this field.

Straight Win or Each way is 10/3 (4.33) but it’s personal preference on angle.

Currently priced 3rd in the exchange in a 4 horse race, The Favourite ’Larry Looby’ looks to have climbed up in the weights a huge 25lbs in his last 3 runs and on paper looks like will find it very hard to carry this weight today. Our selection had ‘Zoffalee’ in behind last time out and looked to be a nice staying prospect when off the bridle for a long way. That was only his 2nd race back since January so should come on even more for fitness and it was only his 2nd chase run since 2020. On numbers I have him better than both Larry looby and ‘aye aye Charlie’ and our horse looks to have that bit more scope for improvement, Main concern would be slight up in trip to 3 mile 3 furlongs. Slight shorten in the exchange as ‘Cardboard gangster’ is a announced a non runner.
