Horse Fancy 🏇

Course - Ascot 5:00 🕰

Horse Name - Rohaan

Odds - 14/1 (15.00) - Best odds currently with Paddy Power

Advising stake 0.5 points each way (7 places)

Shortened from 20/1 to 14/1, tipped last year and won here at 15/2 (8.50) his form since has been shocking since without a win in 7 races which would be a worry, also Won here last April on good to firm, light rain is expected in forecast although Rohaan would of preferred softer ground as won on soft ground conditions here last year, when bolting up from last to 1st, an unlikely winner in this competitive field as his best form came end of 2020 to the summer of last year,

however with Ryan Moore on board 7 places each way looks a decent shout for small punt e/w.

Horse NAP 🏇

Course - Royal Ascot 3:40 🕰

Horse Name - Hurricane Lane

Odds - 5/6 (1.83)

Advising Stake 4 Points (4% of Balance)

This is 1 of my favourite horses of all time, I tipped this horse June 26th of last year to members at odds of 11/2 (6.50) in the Irish derby & it bolted up the last final furlong to catch ‘lone eagle’, very impressive win & burst of speed I recommend watching back that race for anyone that hasn’t, we also backed the following race when winning in longchamp in the Grand Prix de Paris (Group 1) by 6 lengths, ‘Wordsworth’ finished 2nd that day, then backed that up with a win for members in September winning the st leger at Doncaster by 2 3/4 lengths.

last time out in October I avoided betting on at Longchamp due to heavy ground conditions not suiting & the jockey switch up with James Doyle riding that day, which was right decision as finished a close 3rd, William Buick back on board today for trainer Charlie Appleby, Looks the one to beat on paper, my main concern would be hurricane lane hasn’t ran at ascot before & slightly drifting in the exchange this morning.

Harrys 3 Horse Fancies 🏇(Harrys tips are separate to mine whether you follow us both or not it’s personal preference)

2:30 Ascot- ALFRED MUNNINGS @Evens (2.00)

The selection had a very impressive debut when cruising clear of the rest in an almost hands and heels type victory and the splits on that win I have coming out on top. His stable companion was just behind crypto force so connections will know what they have to beat and trainer Aidan o’Brien is brilliant for improving a horse on from their debut. He has some seriously stylish pedigree that suggests progression is to come and looks an exciting type.

3:05 Ascot- ‘Each way’ extra (Bet 365) 5 places STAR GIRLS AALMAL @ 9/2 (5.50)

The selection had two very convincing wins against some decent horses before coming fourth in the Irish 1,000 Guineas which is the best form on offer. He was running off level weights and came 4th within a length of Tuesday and Concert hall and he didn’t get luck in running when hampered by Homeless song, I think he would have finished second with a clearer run. Homeless song is now rated 120 and Tuesday who came second has gone on to win the Oaks in Epsom and is rated 117 so the form is very strong. The selection is also receiving a very valuable 3lbs which is an added bonus and trainer Henry De Bromhead is striking some good form lately. He is still unexposed and open to even more progression than some of these. Conditions will suit today and there’s been money in the market for him.

4:20 Ascot- HOME AFFAIRS - Cover Bet 3 Places (More Markets) @ 6/4 (2.50)

Straight Win is 5/2 (3.50) personal preference on angle.

This horse should be odds on today if not for his last run where I think something was amiss but he’s had time to recover and on previous form looks a cut ahead of this field. He won the Coolmore stud stakes with ease producing an RPR of 122 and followed that up beating Nature strip in a group 1 who has since cruised home earlier this week and is rated 124. On that form he is a good few pounds ahead of the rest and is only 3yrs old and open to plenty more improvement. Trainer Chris Waller is very capable of getting a horse ready as shown with Nature strip earlier this week. If bouncing back from that last run & on paper looks the one to beat.
