Despite Mayo falling short against Galway in the Connacht quarter final by 1 point April 24th, Galway then went on to win it outright as I predicted, without diving too much into reasoning Mayo are the better squad overall & Monaghan players are lacking confidence heading into this game, Mayo are renoun for stepping up their A game for the All Ireland with multiple runner up medals throughout the past decade, finishing 2nd in 2012, 2013, 2016, 2017, 2020, & 2021.

This game vs Monaghan will also be played in Castlebar which Mayo will have the Home advantage. Although Mayo haven’t been 100% this year form wise on paper they are the much better squad & it would be a surprise to many if they don’t progress later today.

He plays an inconsistent Gary Anderson who has only won 2 of his last 11 games, In Anderson’s opening match last night although he won by the same scoreline as smith (6-3) he only averaged a low 87.48 despite throwing 50% on his doubles which for those unfamiliar means his treble scoring was poor, Smith averaged a solid 96.23 & checkout 6/10 on doubles (60%), smith has won 3 of the last 5 h2h’s most recently April 28th 6-2 in legs which we profited from that night.

Side note If you’ve already backed smith outright and don’t want to double risk your bet another angle perhaps would be Most 180s or highest checkout for this game in the double, personal preference.

Competitive race and the favourite ‘Desert crown’ shows the best form & looks the one to beat, however Stone Age is on for potential hatrick for Ryan Moore, although thrown into the deep end and looks a big task for a group 1 win today hence why looking at the ‘to be placed’ market, expect to be thereabouts for this Derby, light rain this morning doesn’t look to affect as has form on very soft, AP o brien has solid record in this race & Ryan Moore booking on Stone Age a horse which was won for us in the past.

Currently priced 2nd in the exchange, Majority of long term members those with a will remember when I got info for this horse December 9th when winning for us at odds of 11/2 (6.50) ironically it was also at this track & over soft ground conditions, weather forecast for Tramore today is rain for few hours straight prior the race, has had questionable form since then but finishing 1 length in 3rd ahead of ‘Where’s Frankie’ at Fairyhouse April 3rd shows decent form as that horse was going for 4 wins in a row that day, Kieran Buckley 5lb claim is also a bonus, main danger is the favourite ‘Singing Banjo’ a horse which made us place profit at punchestown at odds of 13/2 (7.50) & 11/2 (6.50), ‘forecast’ could be a decent shout.

No Horses from Harry today 5 of his last 7 returned profit he won’t be forcing anything with low confidence.
