He is only 7lbs higher than his last winning hurdle mark and has since won over fences and ran very green on the flat when sprinting home but the line came too quick so he looks very nicely handicapped on that form. This trip is ideal for him and he appreciates this quicker ground as he has a good turn of foot. I had also backed him 5 runs ago in limerick when he hit every hurdle and finished like a steam train to be 3rd and was well fancied that day and was only raised 2lbs so he does look to be ahead of the handicapper. I have also received word that connections fancy their chances today. If getting a clear run in this big field I think he could run a good race.
