Right folks i’m not looking for sympathy but unfortunately today I’d to put my dog down, he was in critical condition all week & between him & the bets it’s been a very stressful week I’ve barely been eating, I’m not making excuses for the bad patch on here in comparison to our previous months of consistent profit but i just want everyone to know that my mental state isn’t 100%, the show must go on.

My write up for 10 point stake bet on Iga Swiatek @ 11/10 (2.10) for womens french open will be posted tomorrow evening. 🎾

Horse Name - Reach for the Moon

Advising ‘Betting Without Favourite ’ in ‘more markets’

Odds - 11/10 (2.10)

(This specific market means to win however if finishes 2nd to the favourite ‘My Prospero’ it’s still paid out a winner). cover bet 2 places is another possible angle at 5/4.

Straight Win is 5/2 (3.50) personal preference on angle.

Currently priced 2nd in the exchange & slightly drifting which is slight concern, current fav is ‘My Prospero’ which on paper looks the main danger as William haggas yard are in great form, however ‘Reach for the moon’ has had 5 runs, 2nd, 1st, 1st, 2nd, 2nd. None of the 5 finishing outside the top 2,

Has won at this track before back august 21st winning by 4 lengths in a Group 3 just 2lbs lighter, ran a great race last summer June 19th at Royal ascot finishing just 1/2 a length behind the horse we had as a winner that day, ‘Point Lonsdale’ Frankie Dettori on board, my main concern would be the step up in trip to 1 mile from 7 furlongs.

Regarding the Golf, I’m personally going to wait until Day 1 of the PGA finishes before looking at potential angle as in my opinion this is 1 of the harder majors to predict.

8:25 Tipperary Rathgual boy @1/1:

He looks a smart bumper horse with an impressive win in Leopardstown before running in the graded bumper in Aintree where he was strongly fancied but didn’t exactly get the best run of the race. He has the best numbers on paper and should make amends for Aintree today he looks the stables first choice by jockey bookings and I can’t see anything outside the top 3 beating him. He should hold Sir Argus on form who previously beat the last Mardi on his penultimate run so the form looks good. I’d expect him to make amends for Aintree today and it looks like he’s been given a decent opportunity

Golf - PGA CHAMPIONSHIP ⛳️

JORDAN SPEITH @16/1 (0.5pts e/w) - Each way (12 Places for e/w available on Sky Bet)

As majority members know Harry tipped Scottie Scheffler to win the masters @16/1 who won by 3 shots,

I know I’m mainly here for horses but as I said before I am a scratch handicap golfer also and I work in a pro shop so I know a thing or two about it! This course Southern hills looks as though it won’t fancy the big hitter as it’s tight and has a big emphasis on short game, there may also be the Oklahoma winds to deal with that won’t suit those big hitters. The director of golf came out with a statement saying the winner will have to be well able to chip around the greens. There are a lot of sloped greens and small greens which will need accuracy. One or two stats to take into account are that only 3 of the last 11 winners have not been American and 10 of the last tournaments that southern hills has hosted including majors, tour events and senior pga event all players leading after 36 holes have held on the win, so a fast start looks necessary. Previous winning results have been low so the emphasis is more on preventing bogeys than getting birdies. With all this taken into account I have selected Jordan Speith. He ticks all the boxes on paper. He has a relatively flat ball flight which will be ideal for the win and has one of the best short games on tour, he had played the course a few weeks ago and loved it, he said it was challenging but fun and he really enjoyed playing it. I love picking a player with form. No matter how much the course suits you will always need to be playing well and Speith has found some form of late winning the RBC and then going on the come second on his last start, he has taken a break and came back this week so he’s in hot form and the course should be right up his alley. He seems to really be loving to play again and a previous major winner who knows how to get the job done.

Below this thread is more of a discussion and people’s opinion/verdict be sensible with your stakes following other Members, remember you guys are on here to follow my tips, this is more of a chat, and if your not somewhat educated with Sports bets or horse racing please don’t just pick out random selections or horses for the sake of it.
