2 wins back to back most recent runs last month at Brighton & Bath, although climbing up the weights & class well supported in the exchange today & ground suits on paper, Hollie doyle on board for the in form Trainer John O Shea who’s had 4 winners from his last 11 (36%). Extra furlong then last 2 runs & first run at this track is my main concern.

1:30- BLUEBERG e/w 3 places @6/1 (1pt e/w):

I do think gostuatri should hold the other top 2 in the betting but I think Blueberg is good value @7/1. He was rated 11lbs better than any other horse over hurdles and made a very good chase debut after a small break behind give me a moment and morgenstern who are rated 135 and 110 respectively. Although he was no match for the winner he came very close to morgenstern and was conceding weight too. He jumped markedly out to his right that day so should have come on from that run with experience, he’ll be fitter today and I have him about 3lbs better in the ratings than the fav and he is also receiving 3lbs so looks great value. Connections are in great form and I’m expecting a bold run.

2:30- LUCKY ONE @6/5 (1.5pts):

He was rated 143 over hurdles not too long ago which rates 22lbs better than the best of Nero rocks hurdles form. He ran a good 5th in the imperial cup last time out in graded company and looks the type to take to chasing. If he jumps anyway half decent today he should have too much class for this field, receiving 4lbs is an added bonus.

3:30- CILLUIRID @6/5 (2pts):

He has won 4 of his last 5 starts around this track and has only been raised 4lbs for his most recent win. This track, trip and ground looks ideal and he is still a progressive horse only aged 8. On figures I have him a handful ahead of the rest and showing the most progression also. The booking of Brian hughes is also noticeable and everything points on paper.
