He was beaten by the fav on his chasing debut by 2L but has since improved no end whereas the favs numbers aren’t, on ratings I have him miles ahead since his previous course win. Percussion and roque it are closely matched by steelwave with roque it being beaten 4L’s by him and percussion went on to beat him easing down by 15L. I think this trip might be too short for generator city and his jumping can be a bit sketchy. Percussion made huge improvements between his last two runs and he is only 7 and has great scope. Connections are in good form and I’m expecting a good run upped in distance.

1:30 Catterick- LANGHOLM @2/1 (1.5pts)

on numbers I have him rated the same as Chookie Dunedin although he is receiving 6lbs and looks more progressive this season. Parys mountain is 8 now and on an high mark of late which he hasn’t won off for a very long time and an inexperienced jockey bookie today doesn’t look ideal, on numbers I have Langholm holding him. The selection is a progressive 6 year old this season and looks well handicapped on his previous form. A stiff 7f on good ground looks ideal and I think he could make a bold run from the front.
