To some, laptops should be as portable as possible. But in the case of  this ThinkPad subnotebook from 2007, fans of its form factor went to  extreme measures to keep the machine usable over a decade later.

I bought an x61 from ebay years ago... Man I loved that thing. But for some reason I ended up scraping it after I botched a recoverable repair.... :-(
