New Story: Daughters of Demeter (Patreon)

This is my first attempt at writing sci-fi. So the setting is unfamiliar and instead of magic there's advanced technology.

Description/Synopsis:

Where I was from, growing up poor meant I only had two options. Spend my whole life working on my family's farm, or join the Imperium Navy and get off that dirtball planet. I chose the latter, but I wasn't in it for glory or the career.
All I wanted was to end my first tour on one of the core worlds where they had the right medical technology, with enough money saved up so I could afford the procedure I needed.
Lucky for me, fate had other plans.
