Snapshot Saturday - May 4 (Patreon)

Hey there Patrons!

May the Fourth be with you! Happy Star Wars Day! Don't have anything for that as far as pics go obviously, but I don't think anybody would expect it either. Anyway, lets get to the review!

Like last week, this one wound up being a little all over the place. A couple off days and rough nights of sleep took some time away from art, and a few days were spent catching up on some cleaning around the house that was massively overdue, but despite that, I managed to get another piece completed! Kezzup's comm had quite a bit of back and forth, but going into this week most of it was locked in, so the majority of the time spent was just cleaning up and finishing it off. I had a lot of fun working on it, though admittedly some bits took longer than I would have liked, such as finishing up the linework (surprise surprise). Also for some reason it looks like the copy of that pic on the snapshot image de-saturated the colors a little bit. The brighter more vibrant colors on the standalone are intentional!

Because of that taking up the majority of time spent on art, and the rest of things that were going on during the week, I didn't really have much time for anything else. The sketches for a Golden Week themed piece were done over a couple days as warmups. The idea was to have Vallory and Onyx back to back, Vallory obviously being primarily gold colored, and Onyx having most of her accents being gold colored, and she'd look great in a gold Bikini. I was thinking Vallory might have a metallic black bikini to compliment Onyx as well. That all being said, I didn't get the piece done for the week itself, but I'd like to finish the piece still, since it's been a while since I've drawn Val and I know people like seeing Onyx. Might keep it as a Patreon exclusive for a bit too!

And that'll do it for this week's update! Hopefully I can keep these updates on Saturday moving forward, given that it's tagged as being on Saturday, haha. Some quick asides, my family dropped a last second get together on me, so I'm going to be out of town for the next couple days. Normally I make monthly art packs on the first weekend of the month and prep them for delivery on the 10th, but because of the get together I'm going to have to do it during the week instead. I don't think that will affect the delivery date, but there's a tiny chance it might. If it does, I'll post an update here letting you all know. Likewise, I'll be putting out some votes for themed stuff and Patreon rewards once I get back. I've got a couple ideas for things this month, so keep an eye peeled for those.
