Femdom City MANTIS 0.3.3 (Patreon)

Before you ask, no. No new scenes. Just me still trying to bugfix everything. Another performance update and another workaround for the main menu. The main menu should work now, and you can access the settings menu, the load and save menu via buttons at the top since the ingame menu didn't work.

ATTENTION: SAVEGAMES

Savegames are saved in a different location now. A lot of the saving trouble came from the folder being marked by windows as write only. Because of this and some other shennanigans I decided to move the save destination outsite of the folder. The save location now is:

C:\Users\"name"\AppData\Local\MANTIS\User Data\Default

This is where your saves are! Keep in mind, this doesn't fix already broken saves. It is always good to make a backup of your saves. Also, sometimes Windows hides the "AppData" folder, so make sure you make hidden folders visible.

This "should" be it. The final version. The 'picture stuck in background' bug might still occur on picture heavy scenes when you speed up up the scene. This is something I am working on, but it is currently nothing I can fix. I talked to the devs of the engine but it always takes them 3-4 days to respond, which is...frustrating.

All in all a very frustrating week. I want to move on and make render artwork and get more familiar with the new engine, but I have to work on fixing code all the time. Well, have this artwork anyway :)

The Darktoz Dilemma!

Some of you might remember that I want to work on only one game in the future, one game that is made with the new render engine and my new artwork style (which I am still developing, but since I have to finish 2 games first...I can take my time).

Now the problem is that in order to train, I already need assets. And these good quality assets are fucking expensive.

Right now I am all over the place, because I cannot decide on a scenario. Fantasy, modern, cyberpunk, space? So I am not efficient when it comes to buying assets. A futanari cock, hair, horns can be used in many different settings, fantasy modern or even cyberpunk...but medieval swords, a secretary outfit, cars or a cyberpunk bar? Cannot really be used in all of it if you get what I mean. So I have to decide soon.

"Fantasy, maybe?"

Ultimately, I have to make this decision on my own, because I have to work on it and I will have to stay motivated to work on this project for years. I am leaning towards mixing genres (maybe modern day fantasy like harry potter or a lovecraftian modern day story with supernatural mistresses, or a extremely dark fantasy universe with lots of latex and rubber or a futuristic world where males are being hunted) to create something unique, but as always, I would like to hear your opinion about it. What would be your dream setting? What would be the evil Femdom/Futadom World of your dreams? Close your eyes, envision it...and write it in the comment section :D.
