So, you don't have anyone else you could crash with?" Elizabeth continued to question the woman. Notebook and pen in hand, scribbling notes down as they walked. Her eyes quickly glanced from the paper to Rebecca and in front of her then back to the paper again.

"Well...I..uh...you see..."

"Say no more, that answer speaks volumes..."

"I don't have that many friends!" Rebecca quickly followed up, thinking it was a decent comeback until reality struck her. Causing her to look at her feet.

"I...when you focus on the things most people don't or simply refuse to believe in...there's not really many people to share your findings with."

Rebecca went to write another note before pausing, choosing not to write anything down this time. "I see... that's understandable. Was the Taxi your Dad's? Did he work as a driver?"

"Oh, that? No, no, no!"

"So... who is it?"

"OH! Look! We're here!" She pointed ahead of her, down an overgrown pathway towards the charred shell of the Hotel.

Ahead of them lay the once-grand hotel standing as a grim reminder of the tragic fire that claimed it in the past. Vines and plant life grow over the building like a spreading virus, reclaiming the stone and rubble for nature.

The pathway leading towards it was overtaken by weeds and untrimmed bushes. Causing the duo to squeeze past the sharp branches along the way.

In the distance, Rebecca would spot something glistening. Tilting her head like a curious puppy, she then chased after it. Disappearing inside the lobby of the structure. Elizabeth hesitated for a brief moment before clutching her notebook close to her chest, deciding to follow the Witch for hire inside.

What she saw would leave her grasping for words, her eyes couldn't believe what she was seeing!

There, in front of her, was Rebecca...rushing around drawing multiple symbols on the floor with chalk before dashing a powdery substance across the floor and then, into the air. All whilst chanting in a tongue Elizabeth couldn't understand.

"What are you--"

"Working." Rebecca quickly replied mid-chant, before continuing along with the chant. Elizabeth slowly wrote more notes into her notepad which read along the lines of "She's gone mad."

"I'VE GOT IT!" Rebecca cried out, quickly snapping herself around to stare at Elizabeth, a wide grin growing on her face before she zoomed off, deeper into the hotel. Rushing up the stairs as if to wake her parents on Christmas morning.

"YOU WERE RIGHT! THERE ARE--" her voice trailed off as Elizabeth, in no hurry, would climb the stairs to follow her. "There are?!" She called back to her, not hearing an answer.

"...Becks!?" She hurried to catch up.
