Kingdom Hearts 3 is finally a thing that is actually going to happen in 2019, and I'm diving deep into my roster of old school crushes for this one. I always loved Axel (or Lea, you know, KH stuff is confusing) and his voice is right in my wheelhouse. As usual with my first attempts at new voices, I'm sure it'll evolve over time, and it was hard to pin down just what type of Axel I wanted to portray because he has two distinct ways of talking...the cheeky, a touch flamboyant antagonist tone, and then the way he speaks casually which is more neutral. The challenge is doing cheeky antagonist without slipping into something akin to Lotor. I think I found a happy balance!

Axel confronts the listener, an old "acquaintance", and finds that they have forgotten him after all their time apart (thanks Square Enix), so after some teasing, he offers to jog the listener's memory with a little game.
