It’s based off of the world and characters from the MOBA League of Legends. I have never played the game nor plan to but, the show imho was fantastic

It seems to be getting a LOT of praise. It says league of legends so I’m not sure if it’s affiliated with the game or not. I’d suggest it only for how positive the reviews have been. With that being said are you also making a new anime series poll now that legend of Korra is ending?

Still in the middle of watching it, but it's one of the better animated shows on Netflix. Definitely has something for you Jimmy, if you watched it on your own or react to it. It's based off the characters from league of legends (I've never played the game so I don't have biases) but you don't need to have played to understand or get invested.

Not into much animated stuff/League of Legends but I checked it out and really enjoyed the whole series. No knowledge of LoL is needed. Story is great and animation is straight up beautiful.

It's a show based off the game League of Legends. You need to know absolutely nothing about the game to enjoy the show. I think the less you know the better. Other than that all I can say was I went into it with low expectations and it ended up being the best show I've seen in years. Maybe the best animated show period. It's a must watch.

Like Netflix's Castlevania, it is an animated show based on a game that requires no knowledge of the game and stands on its own as top tier animated action and storytelling. I think you should do Castlevania first but that's my personal bias, you'll probably get more hits now with Arcane since it's at the height of it's popularity among reactors=)

Castlevania was pretty good but Arcane is definitely a tier above it imo. It's all subjective though.

Never played the game.. knew zero backstory. The show is absolutely amazing. Some of the best animation I've seen.. action is great, pace is great, characters are great! I have no doubts that you'd really enjoy this show!

Knew nothing of the lore except a couple of characters from LoL trailers I checked out because of the gorgeous animation. That said it's the best animated show out there in my book. Story wise it threw me for loops, voice acting is chefs kiss and probably my favorite show over the last 3 years live action or animated. In hindsight knowing nothing of the world is the way to go and just let the story unfold, no pre info needed.

I knew nothing of the game, loved the series. Definitely would recommend. In fact, not knowing the LoL lore/game makes it better IMO.

I don't watch much animated stuff and I don't play online games and I really enjoyed this show, both from a story telling and animation style perspective. I also liked the Witcher animated movie that came out a while back.
