Resubmiting unused suggestions that I truly think you'd enjoy, Jimmy! I've given you solid recs before that you've used and I'm going to keep pushing these til you tell me to stop or ya watch 'em!: Clue (1985), a who's who of 80s comedy talent does a wacky murder whodunnit based on the board game Contagion (2011), Steven Soderbergh's star studded tense thriller about a worldwide epidemic which, while a significantly worse plague than our real pandemic, ended up being prescient in certain ways about the reality of last year and today. Maverick (1994), an adventure/western/action/comedy adapting the 1957 tv show of the same name, about a slick, fast talking gambler and his misadventures attempting to acquire the entrance fee to a major poker tournament.  Stars Mel Gibson, with Jodie Foster, Alfred Molina, and James Garner.  A personal favorite from my youth. Speed Racer (2008), the Wachowski siblings campy bright kinetic action packed fun adaptation of the children's anime?  One of my favs. The King of Kong:  A Fistful of Quarters (2007), throwing a curveball:  a documentary.  It's pretty funny, about some super strange real life characters.  Talks about competitive arcade gaming, specifically a big fight over the world record for donkey kong.  It's a strange tale of underdogs, villains, and absurdity.

King of Kong! I totally second that suggestion. I think Jimmy would love it.

Firstly I'm going to suggest The Hunt (2012) again of course. Although not suited for Cash. It's a very intense but quiet danish movie about a man who gets accused of a crime and the people in his town are turning against him. Very frustrating but brilliant movie with one of my favorite performances of all time (Mads Mikkelsen). In my opinion a movie everyone should see.

And secondly I definitely want to suggest Lord of War. (2005) This is perfect for you and Cash. It's about the weapon industry and a famous and huge arms dealer played by Nic Cage. His character is perfect for you since you like powerful characters who do terrible things without a conscience. It's directed by Andrew Niccol (Gattaca) and also features Ethan Hawke and Jared Leto. Great film and a different side of Nicolas Cage. It's also very quotable, starting with the first line.

Resubmitting The Death of Stalin (2017) forever until it's reacted to. I think this is month 4 or 5 but godammit it will happen

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

Munich (2005) - Eric Bana, Geoffrey Rush, Daniel Craig. Israeli government sends a hit squad to take out those responsible for the 1972 Olympics massacre. Out Of Sight (1998) - George Clooney, Jennifer Lopez, Ving Rhames. Fantastic crime/comedy/action/drama film, based on an Elmore Leonard book. The Brothers Bloom (2008) - Mark Ruffalo, Adrien Brody, Rachel Weisz. Con artists doing their thing. Great crime/comedy/drama from the writer/director of Looper and Knives Out. The Other Guys (2010) - Mark Wahlberg, Will Ferrell, Eva Mendes. Fantastic comedy/action about outcast NY cops from the writer/director of The Big Short. Get Shorty (1995) - John Travolta, Gene Hackman, Danny DeVito. Another great crime/comedy/action/drama from a book written by Elmore Leonard. Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou (2004) - Bill Murray, Willem Dafoe, Owen Wilson, Anjelica Huston, Kate Blanchett, Jeff Goldblum. Fantastic adventure/comedy and a wonderful introduction to the films of writer/director Wes Anderson.

End of Watch - Really well written, acted and realistic cop movie starring Jake Gyllenhaal and Michael Pena Spotlight - Best Picture winning film about the journalists uncovered the Catholic Church sex abuse stories. Great ensemble cast including Michael Keaton and Mark Ruffalo A Few Good Men - Classic courtroom movie, starring Tom Cruise, Kevin Bacon and Jack Nicholson. Was surprised to see that you haven't already watched it. This is England - Great sort of coming of age film about a young boy who joins a gang of skinheads right before the group is co-opted by nationalists. If you know Stephen Graham then he's fantastic in this.

Tim Itnyre

Gotta second this suggestion. Lord of War is exactly the sort of movie that Jimmy likes and Nick Cage really shows off his range in this one.

Nerd Going Outside

- The Count of Monte Cristo (2002) - Revenge flick. Does not disappoint. - Rear Window (1954) - Hitchcock. Holds up despite being old as fuck. - The Green Mile (1999) - Tom Hanks. Same crew that did Shawshank. - The Abyss (1989) - James Cameron, Ed Harris. Lots of actors almost die filming cool underwater thriller. Worth watching the director's cut if this is selected. - Contact (1997) - Jodie Foster. Matthew McConaughey. Based on a Carl Sagan novel. Science vs. Faith. - Rounders (1998) - Damon. Norton. Malkovich. Best poker movie... ever?

Uncle 'Traveling' Matt

Great film - one of Tom Hardy's best, I figure (have you seen Locke or Lawless?) But it made it to the voting stage once before and got DESTROYED. Only chance for this one is a DC pick... so it needs a sales pitch :S

Since you are doing the Bond theme, you should check out Layer Cake as that's the movie that got Daniel Craig the role in the first place.

Aiden Howatson

If its not too late I also highly recommend Lincoln (2012). Its a really great film starring Daniel Day Lewis and focuses on Lincoln's attempts to get the 13th Amendment ratified.
