Okay, so, yes, obviously Russell Crowe carries the film; but I gotta say that Kevin Durand - the actor who plays the fellow that Ben Wade shows his new fork to after bedtime - kinda steals the movie for me. He's great in everything I've ever seen him in. He's played both good guys and bad guys... and I always buy it. With only a few lines, and a few more facial expressions, he managed to let you know EXACTLY where his character was coming from in this. That's freakin' talent right there. Also, I know for a fact that I'm not gonna be able to stop singing that damn song for the rest of the day now: "They're gonna hang me in the mornin'..."

I’m coming to realize Jimmy’s most hated characters are usually kids 😂. Great reaction to a great movie.

This is based on a short story written by elmore leonard (who wrote the story that justified is based on), The boyd/raylan and ben/dan relationship is great to compare and contrast. I think especially considering his mother left him, seeing a father give his life for his family pushed ben wade to allowing him to get him to train.
