Dummy's apparently back tomorrow, so This is the End is pushed until then. If you plan on bouncing as a patron, hit me up for a link sometime in January.

Speaking of which, movie suggestions for January?

I think you'd have a blast watching Matchstick Men. Fantastic con artist movie starting Nicolas Cage that is super underrated and won't have a million competing reactions on Youtube. I think you'd have a blast with it.

Cadmus Lochlan

Happy New year! I don't know the run time limit you have Jimmy for movies, but I will toss in a beefy one..."Red Cliff" from 2008. the full version is 4 hours. though the edited version is 2 and half hours.

Cadmus Lochlan

Also The Last Dragon and 13 Assassins

Light Yagami

Well that’s a little disappointing ngl. My suggestions for next month would be 3:10 to Yuma, uncut gems, the gift, girl with the dragon tattoo. Happy new year 🎊

I second the vote for Matchstick Men.

Happy Near Year Jimmy! I would recommend Uncut Gems. It’s a fantastic movie in my opinion.

I'd say "Amadeus" (1984), a classic and still entertaining movie.

Happy 2021! Hopefully an improvement over 2020. As far as movie suggestions: Speed Racer (2008), the Wachowski siblings campy bright kinetic action packed fun adaptation of the children's anime? One of my favs. Zodiac (2007), director David Fincher's look at the investigation into the Zodiac Killer, and on the nature of obsession, starring Jake Gyllenhaal, Mark Ruffalo, & Robert Downey Jr. Contagion (2011), Steven Soderbergh's star studded tense thriller about a worldwide epidemic, which while a significantly worse plague ended up being prescient in certain ways Big Trouble in Little China (1986) teams Kurt Russell & director John Carpenter again (after The Thing & Escape from NY) in a campy self aware satirical action comedy that is one of my top 10 movies all time.

Ninaofthe90s

Happy new year Jimmy!!! I'm going to stick with Darren Aronofsky's masterpiece "Requiem for a dream". A movie everyone should see once.

Ninaofthe90s

my other choice would be "Road to Perdition" if you haven't seen it yet. It's a crime drama from 2002 with Tom Hanks in one of his most unusual roles, same goes for Jude Law. Daniel Craig before he became Bond - and Paul Newman in his last role. It's amazingly directed by Sam Mendes (1917, Skyfall, American Beauty) and has incredible performances and oscar winning cinematography.

Unbeheld

Happy New Year Jimmy~ Sticking to my choice on foreign film "New World 2013". If you liked Parasite, this is another one you should look for.

Nerd Going Outside

Road to Perdition is a fantastic idea that I saw someone else mention. I'd also suggest, if you're not opposed to westerns, 1992 Best Picture winner 'Unforgiven'. And in the less-enlightened category, you might enjoy 2000 Revolutionary War drama 'The Patriot', if you can stomach Mel Gibson.

Dean Cyphers

Green room is a must watch and I'd also recommend Blue Ruin from the same director.

Dean Cyphers

Lock stock and two smoking barrels should get another crack at it and for an anime movie, Princess Mononoke would be amazing! (don't let the name fool you)

Brian Darty

The hunted starting Tommy Lee Jones and Benecio Del Toro

Brian Darty

Existenz starring Jude Law and Jennifer Jason Leigh

The Man From U.N.C.L.E. is a good/fun reaction friendly movie. The Invention of Lying is also a silly but great movie. Little miss sunshine is a surprisingly funny and cool movie(name sucks but is plot relevant). Idk what you have already watched tho. Cheers dude.

Happy New Year everyone! I'd like to suggest two often-overlooked gangster films from 1990: King of New York (Christopher Walken) and Miller's Crossing (Coen Brothers.)

David Herron

Count of monte cristo if you haven’t seen it

Deadwood The Movie

Jamie Roberts

I think you’d love Dead Mans Shoes, an English revenge film.

T0ast

he already watched it, but i think the recording got lost after vimeo went down.

Black Dynamite with Michael Jai White.

Liam

I'd like to recommend The Hunt starring Mads Mikkelsen. I won't talk about the plot but it's a very powerful film. I think it would make for an interesting reaction.

Reaction Junkie

Probably seen it but what about The Shawshank Redemption???

Robert Kruger

Misery - Cathy Bates' best performance ever.

Robert Kruger

Heavy Metal - Great animated film with several short stories fitting into an overarching concept. Awesome music to boot.

Robert Kruger

Stargate - Great SciFi and a necessary background before going into the series(es)

Robert Kruger

Gattaca - great science fiction starring Ethan Hawk, Uma Therman, and Jude Law.

Robert Kruger

Hereditary - Awesome suspense movie

I'm assuming you've seen Tombstone already, right...? Because if not, then 100% Tombstone. If yes, then Silverado.

Robert Kruger

What about Dangerous Liaisons for that time period, I think the characters in that would be more up Jimmy's alley (you know the type).

James Bellamy

The Lobster - Seeming you enjoyed Colin Farrell's performance for In Bruges. It's quite a bizarre dystopian film, but I think it would make for a great reaction.

You got to watch Mandy. A acid fueled horror flick with Nic Cage at his best.
