Astray3 Chapter 3: Gain Pg5 (Patreon)

I caught a terrible stomach bug last week which put me behind on a lot of comic work. So, only one update this week and I'll work on having another background update soon. Most likely next week will be a two update week. 

Straight to are talk today. The downtime gave me some time to experiment with different coloring methods. This will be the first page that heavily uses adjustment layers to create shadows and highlight. On previous pages I relied on lots of blending layers, but I was never satisfied with the final look. It would look murky or not blend very well together. The new method ties the colors together better and unifies the lighting effects. Still needs some adjustment, however I'm confident this is the direction to go with the coloring. 

Boy...does that blood look weird. It does take the edge off the gory scene.
