Recommendations: Into The Spiderverse (Patreon)

Welcome to today's installment of "I totally thought I recommended this before but apparently I didn't." I'll be honest, I assumed all the immense praise this film got upon release was by virtue of being decent in a sea of mediocrity superhero films...

and I've been eating humble pie every since.

I might be a sucker for dark media, but I cannot deny Spiderverse's heart nor the affection for its material that is realized better than any previous film starring Spiderman.

Even if you're like me, and can count all the Superhero films you've liked on one hand, check out Spiderverse, and don't be surprised if it ends up on that slim list.
