Can't quite remember the last time I heard a Pop album have a track go so goddamn hard as Death of Me on PVRIS' 2020 project.

While the rest of the album ain't a Mick Gordon synth-concert, it is a wonderfully paced record with Lyndsey's vocals carrying so many tracks but especially Hallucinations and Old Wounds, where she's completely captivating whether barely a whisper or an epic screaming finale.

Thank you Arcane for introducing me!

pretty solid stuff. speaking of rock bands with a female singer, have you checked out Paramore? their first 3 albums are a mix of catchy angsty Pop Punk and Melodic Alternative Rock, their 4th album is a mix of Alt Rock with Power Pop and New Wave, their 5th album is essentially a Synthpop affair with influences of Disco, New Wave and even Reggae and their 6th album is Bloc Party and Metric influenced Post-Punk. their discography is quite fascinating and Hayley Williams is a heck of a vocalist.
