Recommendations: Scott Pilgrim vs. The World (Patreon)

I heard this movie described eons ago as the best video game movie ever made, and it's kinda true. Doesn't matter that the video-game never existed, not until the film's release as a tie-in, Scott Pilgrim's energy, pacing, and abstract nature, is very gamey.

Only, there's much better writing, characters, and themes than most video-games.

I've previously said that Hot Fuzz was my favorite Edgar Wright movie, but Scott Pilgrim is at the very least, trading blows with it; everything that was great in Hot Fuzz, is great in Scott Pilgrim...

Only it's more Canadian.
