In All the King's Men, the royal family of Lioncourt are protected by a group of knights known as the Royal Guard. The Royal Guard has a long standing rivalry with the Raven Knights for prestige and importance in the kingdom, though the Raven Knights are the more universally famed, the Royal Guard is more well respected by the nobility. The nobility does not like the freedom and authority that the Raven Knights carry.

Amelia here is one of the veterans of the Royal Guard, she has a rivalry with Megogo.
