At the tinder age of five, Guy’s arcane attunement manifested when he was able to cast a journeyman level spell in order to save himself and other young adepts on their way to the Magus Librarium Olcadan at Ishtar. A piece of hereditary magic, gifted by his royal bloodline, the spell, ‘Blade of the Nimbus’ was a ‘light elemental’ arte; affirming not only a special affinity, but an uncanny talent for powerful arcana. His timely intervention allowed the Librarium Assessors and Royal Guard Escorting the caravan to finally slay the beast. He would receive his very first accommodation in his ‘Arcanum Historia’; a record of his achievements as a mage, for the feat.

At thirteen he uncovered a plot by Biencien Witches to corrupt fellow Librarium students, recruiting them for their coven. He battled classmates who had become maleficarum and his timely intervention allowed more experienced Mages to end the witches’ plot and bring them to justice.

As a full mage at only fifteen, he assisted other Assyrian Librarium graduates and local mages in their support of the Border Legion, sealing several rifts in the Forbidding caused by Elderkin Cultist.

Fought and defeated rouge mage and cultist Mage Martius Aton the Wily in a mage duel at the ‘Battle of the Gates of Everard’, at merely sixteen; earning an appointment as a Court Mage. His first of many victories over rival mages.

Guy has won several awards from the Librarium for his craft in wordsmithing spells, allowing more difficult spells to be learned by less talented adepts and his contribution to Arcane Study, which were also recorded in his ‘Arcanum Historia’.

Was recognized by the High Sorceress of Lioncourt and chosen to join the King’s ‘Cabal of Crows’, the cadre of mages that work directly for the crown of Lioncourt.

Appearance:

Guy is a fit, beautiful, young lion, who is five foot-six inches tall, with the physique of an athletic woman sporting thick, baby bearing hips. He is incredibly feminine in appearance and mannerism, indistinguishable from a ladykin without effort. His eyes are an odd reddish pink and he has the curly white hair common to his family line, though he tries desperately to keep his ends straight.

He is patterned a lot like his mother and sisters, he bares little resemblance to his father, Count Harlem Eridanus, aside sharing the same strange eye color. He is a copper brown lion with a face, chest, and abdomen the color of tussock grass. Guy has sunshade colored markings lining his abdomen, over his eyes, and around his upper chest; just in above his armpits. Another trait of lions of the Eridani breed.

Guy is revered as one of the three beauties of the Eridanus family, despite his gender. He and his sisters are well known and well respected in the nobility. There are no end of suitors for his hand; both male and female. Which is attention he adores.

Personality:

Guy is a smart, beautiful, talented member of the peerage. The only son of a Great and Storied House such as Eridanus has left the young lionkin playfully narcissistic. He is incredibly proud of his family name, standing, and accomplishments. His mother, Prosha Eridanus was the First Sword of Bast, a member of the Kingsguard, and the finest swordsman in the land. His father, the Duke of Eridani Fields, was a Captain of the Kinguards before his dismissal, and a hero respected and revered by not only the Eridani, but all of Lioncourt.

An exceptional mage with a powerful arcane attunement and a strong affinity for one of the ‘divine elements’, Guy is a powerful awoken adept in many arcane artes. The notoriety and regard he is shown has made himself-important and slightly arrogant. A condition he’s carried since his youth at the Magus Librarium Olcadan at Ishtar, where he Graduated with the rank of Mage at fifteen. His high marks and abilities also gained him a Magus Qualification Level of ‘Apprentice’ in mancery; trained in both Light and Lightning Elemental. He also is an adept quintist with a rank of ‘Initiate’ in Quintistry. He currently holds the MQL of ‘Master Spellcaster’ and with plans to become a recognized ‘Wizard’ before his twentieth birthday.

Despite being vain, pompous, narcissistic, and slightly egomaniacal; Guy is strangely not self centered. His inflated sense of self importance is not often at the expense or belittling of others. Though he is quick to toss such insults at his rivals and adversaries, he is often magnanimous with the common kin. Those who are not considered enemies are spared the creativity of his petty venomous remarks and quips. The fact that he is pampered and spoiled notwithstanding, the young Earl is not a snob. He values the opinions and ideas of others, and places no special importance on the social status of the people around him. Only their quality of their looks, character, and usefulness to him.

This is common for most mages. Having spent years of their lives studying arcana with adepts from various walks of life, Librarium trained mages tend to value talent above all else. A preference that influences their outlook on life.

Most believe Guy’s pride in his family name is the source of his arrogance, rather than his personal looks and incredible abilities; assuming a sense of social entitlement. But Guy's vanity and prejudices are all tied to his sense of aesthetic and expectations of the capabilities of others. These expectations are often based not on where they were born or who they are, but what they’ve done and the acclaim they have earned.

Guy has courtly grace and an affable manner, but is still socially dim; often coming off as blunt or critical of others without realizing it. As a respected noble, he feels it is his duty to be honest and direct with others; while also offering his opinions for their betterment. This is especially so with members of the nobility he believes are misrepresenting their station.

Most will see the beautiful fop with his incredible looks and accomplishments as unapproachable, but Guy is surprisingly personable for a lord and enjoys socializing with others. Though his favorite topics tend to be self gratifying.

Commonkin, noble, awoken or mundane, Guy enjoys the attention of others, and is a glutton for flattery and compliment. An easy lover, he has romances and dalliances on a whim; but has never had a serious relationship. As a ‘Crow’ of the Cabal and member of a Great House, he avoids close public pairings, in order to ward off the political machinations of others. Often keeping things very casual with his chosen partners.

Of course this does not mean he is realist about love. On the contrary, despite the young mage is a budding romantic, who still wishes to one day be swept off his feet by someone who will make him feel special and wanted. His current crush is Count Adolyn Valenrow, friend and former Academy classmate of his eldest sister, Aritrea, and the current Primus Corvinus of the Sacred Order of Raven Knights.
